Here's how to make easy homemade play dough! Prevent food color from staining your hands by mixing the dough and food color drops in a sealable plastic bag. ❋ Baking Instructions: Bake the dough at 200°F until hard. The amount of time depends on size and thickness. Thin pieces might take 45-60 minutes, thicker pieces might take 2-3 hours. Check on your pieces in the oven every 1/2 hour or so until they are hard. To make your dough harden faster, bake at 350°F, but keep an eye on it because it might turn brown. To completely seal and protect your dough art, apply a clear or paint varnish. DIY Play Dough Step by Step Tutorial🖐 ❗️Warning: This stuff is addictive to make 🤩 Once you make one, there’s no going back to store bought 😜 This homemade play dough recipe is made out of food grade items, making it taste safe for the little ones, long lasting for storage and extremely fun to play with! It is by far one of my absolute favorite sensory recipe to make ❤️ 👉🏼YOU’LL NEED: - 1 cup flour - 1/2 cup table salt - 2 tbsp cream of tartar - 1 tbsp oil - 1 cup boiling water - Food coloring (I recommend the Wilton Color Right 🤍 👉🏼INSTRUCTIONS: 1️⃣In a bowl, combine the flour, salt and cream or tart. Mix well. 2️⃣Add the oil 3️⃣Mix a few drops of food coloring into the boiling water and add to the bowl. 4️⃣Mix everything very well and massage with your hand until it is no longer sticky. 💡Use the same measuring cup for all the ingredients and tap the cup full of flour so that all the air bubbles come out and you measure accurately 💡Storage: Wait for the play dough to cool completely. All of you ask for a Play-Doh DIY video so today we show you how to make play doh at home with a very few ingredients super quick and easy to make with just 6 ingredients, just be carful don't burn your hands. You need: 2 cups of water, 1 cup of salt, 2 cups of all purpose flower ,5 teaspoons of cream of tartar, 2 table spoons of oil any kind, we use olive oil, and this is optional you can use food coloring any colors you like to paint your play dough. HOW TO MAKE: First boil the water, then add the salt and stir softly only a couple of times, in a bowl mix your flower and the cream of tartar, add the oil, next add the water and mix with a spoon, let it cool down for 10 to 15 min and star working the dough with your hands until you get a really soft consistency last but nit least add the food coloring to your dough and mix again. Tip if you use the gel food coloring you only need 2 drops vs liquid food coloring you need to add a lot until you are happy with the color. Don’t forget to subscribe for new vids every M-W-F 🤍 SUPPLIES • ½ cup rice cereal • ½ cup cornstarch 🤍 • 1.4 cup of applesauce • 2 TBSP vegetable oil • food coloring 🤍 STEPS 1. Mix dry ingredients together. Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl. 2. Add wet ingredients, and mix. 3. Once it starts to clump together, you can begin to knead it with your fingers. Soon you can pick it up and mold with your hands. 4. Break into two pieces, once dough is nice and smooth. Place each pieces into separate Ziploc bags, and then add 10-15 drops of food coloring. Close bag and then knead color into the dough. 5. Once it’s mostly mixed in, you can remove from the bag, and continue to knead with your hands. *You can substitute water for the applesauce and it will work just as well. Elle and I set out to find the best homemade play dough recipe…and we did!! Check out our journey and the perfect play dough we (finally) made :) Don’t forget to subscribe for new vids every M-W-F🤍 Follow me on Instagram: 🤍 Follow me on Pintrest: 🤍 Ingredients 1 cup flour 1 cup water 2 tsp. cream of tarter 1/3 cup salt 1 TBS vegetable oil or coconut oil food coloring Instructions 1. Mix together all ingredients, except the food coloring, in a medium saucepan. 2. Cook over medium heat, stirring. Once it begins to thicken, add the food coloring. 3. Continue stirring until the mixture is much thicker and begins to gather around the spoon. 4. Once everything is mixed and consistency is dough like, remove and put onto wax paper or cutting board to cool. 5. After cooling knead playdough for a few minutes. Glitter play dough but glitter does not stick to your hands! The secret is using extra fine glitter and adding it right after you pour in the water! ✨ The secret is using extra fine glitter and adding it right after you pour in the water 🤫 👉🏼 YOU'LL NEED: 1 cup flour 1/2 cup table salt 2 tbsp cream of tartar 1 tbsp oil 1 cup boiling water Food coloring (I didn't add any for this white one) Extra fine glitter 👉🏼INSTRUCTIONS: 1. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt and cream or tart. Mix well. 2. Add the oil 3. Mix a few drops of food coloring into the boiling water and add to the bowl (don’t mix yet). 4. Add the glitter. Don't over do it or it will stick to your hands. 5. Mix everything very well and massage with your hand until it is no longer sticky. The glitter will stick as you massage but once its done, wash your hands. It should no longer stick to you. Tip: Make sure to compact the flour in the cup. Add more flour if it’s sticky, add water if it’s dry. Storage Tip: wrap in plastic and place in an air tight container.
