I knocked on this lady's door when I drove past and saw the lawn pouring over the curb in front of her house. I was contacted by a city council member of a small town near me. He said they have a few houses that could really use my help. So, I had him send me addresses so I could check them out. My wife and I drove about an hour to see them and decided they were bad enough for an SB Mowing transformation! So, I came back the next day to get started on the first one. I knocked on this man's door to take care of his overgrown lawn and give his yard a FREE makeover. His daughter reached out to me on Facebook and let me know that her dad was on oxygen and does as much as he can but doesn't get very far before having to go back inside and rest. This was a really satisfying transformation and I don't think I could have done it for anyone more deserving. I started with the biggest part which was revealing almost half of the house by cutting out the weed trees in the flower beds. Then I mowed the grass and mulched up the all leaves. Luckily, my Hustler Super S cut it down no problem. The unlucky part, is that my weedeater threw a rock at her glass back door and cost me a lot... I went to go knock on the door and noticed that a single board was nailed to it to keep it closed. I assumed it was vacant, but I knocked anyways. Nobody answered but I saw that the gate was wide open so I decided to take a quick look around. The backyard was a MESS! There were weeds, grass, poison ivy, and trees growing everywhere. EVEN OUT OF THE POOL! This cleanup took me 3 days and a lot of hard work. My mower got stuck multiple times on hidden stumps but it cut down just about everything.
