Jamie Lee Curtis shared her shock over her first Oscar nomination for the indie movie "Everything Everywhere All at Once." German language war drama "All Quiet on the Western Front" is coming in as a surprise Oscar front-runner with nine nominations. Other best picture nominees include blockbusters "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Avatar: The Way of Water," which reportedly cost a whopping $460 million to make. It's also the first time two sequels have ever been nominated for best picture.
I really hopes she wins.. She been acting since 1974.. But I have a feeling that Angela Bassett, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is going to get it (which I think she's great too..)
The biggest snub in my opinion was not nominating Jamie Lee Curtis for an Oscar for Trading Places

I am surprised that she is this surprised like a new actress.
I have always seen her as an A-lister, veteran actress. For her caliber to react genuinely like this is actually refreshing. Being real with reactions is the new modesty and humility.

From "Halloween" (1978) to "Everything Everywhere All At Once", Jaimie Lee Curtis has been on one heck of a cinematic ride. I have never seen this movie (everything,,), but I have seen clips of her in it. I like the role she plays and I hope she gets the award.
